I really enjoyed our first visit to this Italian restaurant. The staff was welcoming, and we sat down right away. We started with the calamari. It was lightly breaded and crispy, with a fresh flavor. I got the lasagna, which tasted like home. It was delicious. There was plenty of meat, pasta, and cheese, a perfect balance. The sauce wasn't overly sweet. The tomato was very evident in the sauce. The Caesar salad was fresh, the dressing flavorful, not bland. The bread was hot and yummy. I can't wait to go back!
My family and I had dinner there on Friday. This was our first visit to Lidia's. The service and food were great!! We ordered a variety of menu items... Shrimp Alfredo, Calzones, Sicillia Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, Salmone Alla Florentina, Wings, and Cheesesteak, sweet tea and fountain drinks. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals!! I would highly recommend going into or ordering online from Lidia's Ristorante Italiano!!

Unassuming on the outside, top self on the inside. Service was great, even with a busy night going. The food was amazing! How this isn’t the largest place in the area is a mystery to me. When we get back in this area we will make it a priority to eat here again.
I don't usually give 5-star reviews but this one had everything going for it. Not from this town so we just happened to stop by. It is a small family-owned Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and we felt very welcome. The owner was walking around checking on things and making sure customers were happy. The waitress was very nice and kept everything filled and even served our pizza. Now the food... we had a half cheese half meat lovers pizza, chicken picata, chicken marsala, and lobster ravioli. The pink sauce and house sauce were phenomenal. Food was hot. Pizza had great flavor, even in the crust. Everything was just on point. Recommend giving it a chance!
We've been to Lidia's a few times. Even though I wouldn't consider them very kid friendly, my child really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We went after the lunch rush this past Friday and were one of the only customers in there. On our last visit, we ordered mozzarella sticks and a medium pizza half sausage half cheese, everything was really tasty. I was worried that my kid wouldn't like the flat cut sausage but to my surpise, my kid ate a little bit of everything and enjoyed it all. As a mom of a picky eater I'd say this was a win. We appreciate our sever, who was very nice and helpful.
Just found this place recently. Real Italian food, in Richmond - haven't enjoyed that since La Grotta closed their Shockoe Slip location several years ago. It's not Boston or NYC, but it's good. Recommended.
I come here from time to time with my wife, and the food is always amazing. The dishes never fail to surprise me — you can really tell there’s care and passion in the way everything is made. I honestly think it’s the best tiramisu in the area. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Italian food
